Nyota ID is a powerful, white-labeled identity verification engine. It allows you to seamlessly integrate secure Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) checks directly into your web and mobile applications.

Backed by global compliance networks, Nyota ID handles document capture, biometric liveness checks, and registry lookups while keeping you in complete control of your application's user experience.

The Verification Lifecycle

Integrating Nyota ID involves three simple steps:

1. Create a Session (Backend): Your secure server calls the Nyota API to generate a temporary verification session URL.
2. Launch the SDK (Frontend): You pass that URL to the Nyota ID Web or React Native SDK, which opens an elegant, native modal over your application for the user to complete their verification.
3. Listen for Webhooks (Backend): Once the user finishes (or abandons) the flow, Nyota dispatches a cryptographically signed webhook to your server with the final approval decision.

Environments & Pricing

Nyota ID is billed on a per-verification basis (deducted from your Nyota Wallet).

However, during development, you can use a Test API Key (ny_test_...). Test keys will launch a mock verification flow, allowing you to simulate approvals and declines instantly without incurring any charges.
